How do I know if my gutters are blocked?

How often should gutters be cleaned?
Most homes are fine with a clean once a year. If you have trees close to the house, or a mossy roof shedding into the gutters, they can block up faster.

Yes. Every full roof clean includes clearing the moss out of the gutters and downpipes afterwards, so you do not need to book it separately.
